Five Friday Favorites

Anyone else feeling this way today?

Time to chat about five of my favorite things this week....

ONE // Favorite Healthy Drink: Green Tea

I was on a huge Green Tea kick last year during cold & flu season.  I sort of got out of it during the summer, but with the flu back with a vengeance around, I pulled out my old friend.  I really do feel like I'm doing something good for my body drinking it.  Plus, I add raw honey, which also has health benefits, & makes it taste DELISH!  Time to start getting my body ready for the winter months.

TWO //  Favorite App: Gift List

I'm the person who keeps track of everything gift wise. What we bought, for who, how much, how much we have to spend, how much we have left to spend, how to keep it even for grandchildren or nieces.  It's a lot of work. I used to make charts & write it all on paper.  But there is an app that I have used for the past 2 year that I LOVE.  The one I use is called Gift List. I got it on Android but I'm sure its on Apple as well.

But it keeps a budget for you, how much you've spent, & even has it where you put in each person & it will let you know if you bought the present & even when you wrap it.  I live by this app. I can't tell you how many times I open it when we're out shopping as reminders of who I need to buy for.

THREE // Favorite Show: Nashville

#TEAMDEACON

Who watched the winter finale?  I so love this show & was not disappointed by the winter finale.  So much happening with every character. I could hardly go to bed after it went off.  The best part for me?  When my friend Lauren sent me #hashtags to sum up the whole show. I seriously sat & laughed at all of them.

Funny
FOUR // Favorite Star: Neil Patrick Harris

I just finished reading his book this week & I'll share more about it on my next #WinterReadingChallenge post... but I have always loved him & didn't think I could love him more... & then I read his book... & now, I love him even more.  I saw where he's going to be on Barbra Walter's top people of 2014. I would agree with that.  Cant wait to see what he has to say on there.  I'm sure it will be "Legend..." -  nah... I won't do it :)

FIVE // Favorite Christmas Album: Casting Crowns

I know this album (do they still call them albums?  is CD correct?  I grew up in the 70's - I'll always say albums I guess) is from years ago but it is still the one I'm listening too all season long. I have it in my car & its on repeat.  It never gets old to me.

& to be fair, my Steven Curtis Chapman Christmas CD is in my player at work. Don't think I've turned against my guy...

Bonus:  Favorite song from the ALBUM... Enjoy...
