Hodgepodge

1. What was your biggest worry five years ago?  Is it still a worry?

2008...

Heck, I don't even remember yesterday...

Let's just say I can remember what is needed in the midst of an argument

 2. Yesterday (October 15th) was National Grouch Day...what makes you grouchy?  What cheers you up when you're feeling grouchy?

A messy house make me grouchy... which explains why I'm grouchy all the time.  I hate I missed the opportunity to celebrate my grouchiness...

Will Ferrell cheers me up.  Every time.  Let me pop in "Talladega Nights" or "Elf" or "Anchorman" & I'm instantly a happier person

See... this alone just raised my level of grumpy for the day

3. In one word, how does it feel to be photographed?

AWKWARD!!!!

image
This smile is natural... right?
Its funny because that's what I do... try to capture natural smiles from other people, but I was in front of the camera last year... & I was like, This is the most uncomfortable thing EVER.  Gave me a new appreciation to make others feel comfortable in front of my camera....

this is actually the picture that was taken...
my Second Shooter was playing with the camera settings & I got to be the victim model

4. Besides your parents, who would you say had the greatest influence on you in choosing your life path?  Explain.

I have a life path?

I need to get on that probably....

5. The crisp days of autumn are here...what's something you like to eat, but only if it's crisp?

This was kinda hard... & it made me hungry thinking of all different foods...

But I hate when the breaded coatings of things aren't crisp... if they're soggy, yuck...

Onion rings comes to mind... & again, I'm now hungry & craving them...

My belly is growling.....

6. What's the most useless object you own?

My sun visor for my car...

I bought one with the thoughts of keeping my leather seats from scalding the skin off the back of my legs every day after work...

7. Share a favorite fall memory.

Of course, I have to say when I got married.  My anniversary is coming up October 28th... 18 years!!!

Happy 16 years!!!

But I always knew I wanted to get married in Fall... its always been my favorite time of the year.  The leaves changing, the cooler weather.  Its just perfection.

I also have wonderful memories of family vacations down to Gatlinburg in the fall... cool nights walking around the streets & shops.  Good times.

8.  Insert your own random thought here.

Rain came in yesterday...

with it?

The WORLDS WORST HEADACHE!!!

When we had a tornado come through the area about 3 years ago, I had a headache like I've never had in my life.  I thought it was a stroke.  As soon as the tornado & storm left, my headache went away...

I've since learned that the change in the pressure in the atmosphere can cause headaches ...

& every time it rains now, I get these horrible headaches

  1. OK. The "test picture" for lighting, etc. that your photographer partner took? LOVE IT. I mean it. I LOVE IT!!

I don't think I know the story about how you and Ricky met! At least I don't remember reading it (like you, I can't even remember what I did for dinner last week). If you're comfortable sharing, you should share it for your anniversary! (no pressure, though-I respect moments in our lives remaining private!)

  3. Yes, beautiful picture of you! I had to keep my giggles quiet because my kids are still sleeping. Your hodgepodge had me rollin'!

  4. I'm pretty much always on the brink of grouchy. I don't usually just wake up that way but sometimes silly things send me over the edge. But man, the right song can turn that right around! And yes, there's nothing more awkward than being photographed but you're pretty good at talking me off the ledge :)

  5. A messy house makes me feel grouchy too, and a little bit claustrophobic.

  6. I get head aches when it rains as well - the changing of the pressure. And my husband would tell you I am the queen of grouchy-ness. Little things can put me in a grouchy mood, but I also can snap out of it pretty quick :)

  8. Your anniversary is one week after ours! We'll be celebrating 24 years of wedded bliss on the 21st! How about that? Like you, I always wanted to get married in the fall. I'm with you on Will Farrell. He cracks me up so much! Have you seen the YouTube video when he was on Jimmy Fallon...he came out and sang and danced in a pair of TIGHT white pants. I think the song he sang went something like, "Everywhere I go, I wear my tight pants, I've got my tight pants on..." You MUST watch it!

  9. I get headaches when the seasons change, particularly summer into fall. It settles down eventually. Does your hubs still wear his hair long? My hubs says he's growing his out when he retire, not that long but longer than he wears it for work now. We'll see : )

  10. What a beautiful bride! I love the sleeves on your dress. Onion rings are delish, now I'm craving them.
I get those headaches too. I tease if you want to know the weather report ask me how my head feels ;) What seems to work for me is soda fountain Coca-Cola.
    Have a great week :)

  12. I don't like a messy house either but I don't like cleaning it!!! Yes Will Farrell is so funny. Love the picture of you.....sorry about the headache.

  13. Ha! I found it ironic that you used the word awkward to describe how it feels to be photographed. BTW, we answered the same way!!

    Love that photo of you!!!!

  14. National grouch day? I get grouchy when I am hungry, when I miss the bus, when I don't get out of work on time, when I get two replacement phones instead of just the one I need and have to pay postage to return it. I smile though when I see my cute cats laying perfectly content somewhere.

  16. Didn't know the 15th was National Grouch Day. On my wedding video, my dad tells my husband that if I ever get grouchy, then he needs to feed me...it's true! I am super grouchy when I am hungry :) LOVE, love Will Ferrell! But a Starbucks drink will cheer me up too!

When I am photographed, I am always afraid I will close my eyes, so I open them really wide and then I look like a psycho! Crazy eyes...ha! Beautiful pic of you!!!!

Oh and you're gonna love this one...I can't stand when my "cereal" isn't crisp :) Hope I didn't gross you out too much! Much love to you sweets!
