Dear Steph,
Its been two years today you left this world. I think of you daily. I wonder how you are spending your time - wonder how happy that you get to see Jesus & experience all the glory of Heaven. Is it everything you thought it was going to be? How are you enjoying being pain free & not having the burden of an earthly body weight you down anymore?
Do you know how much you are missed? By me & your family....
I cant tell you how many times I've gone to call you to ask you something about a knitting project, or a name of someone we know & I cant remember for the life of me her name.... I want to call to see what you are up to, to see how you are feeling for the day - to see if you just want to sit & talk & laugh.... if you want to play a game, or go for a walk.... just to hear your voice, your laugh.
Every time I come home & have to drive by your home, I think of all the time I spent in there & now, to think how long its been since I stepped foot in that home... how things change.

Do you see how fast your grand children are growing? Do you see how well your children are doing? Are you so proud?
Ricky misses you so dearly too.... we still have the fight over "she's MY friend!".... we talk about how when you went to Gatlinburg with us, how that was probably one of the best trips we've ever taken.... the memories of the laughter of that trip still makes both of us giggle!
We miss all our bowling days too... I cant pick up a ball & not think of you praying over it everytime you would get up there & get a strike! I still say "Praying is not allowed in Bowling"...hehe!!!

Two years... sometimes it doesn't seem like it has been that long... and sometimes like it has been forever.
I know that Steph was so proud to see you in church today... instead of staying away and mourning her loss... and I know that she has loved watching your grown in your walk with Christ....
My friend... I know that this has been so hard on you, and that you miss Steph dearly... but I am so proud of how you have handled everything!!!!!! Especially how you have watched over her children... what an awesome friend you are!!!!
Won't it be great to see Steven Curtis Chapman and Michael W. Smith go head-to-head...one singing "Cinderella" and the other singing "Friends," and the two of you holding hands the entire time.
