Tonight was so much fun!! We had a pep Rally for Jesus... not just a normal Pep Rally! Oh yeah - it had pom poms - it had air horns, it had bells & whistles... but it had a message too!
The kids were told to dress up! Almost like you were going to a pep rally - or how you go when you support a team in a sport! Have you seen how people dress when they go to a game? Or how fanatic they get when their team is playing a game?
Being from Louisville - people were going CRAZY for U of L during the basketball tournament! People get FANATIC about teams - they get defensive if you say anything bad about their team.... they know STATS of past games... they know ALL the team members - even those from years past!
So that was the idea of tonight! Come ready to cheer on your team! Hence, my "TEAM JESUS" shirt!
It was such an incredible night of worship!!! What a way to be reminded that to choose a team, you have to be ready to go ALL OUT! You may look crazy & weird, but what a team to cheer for... because we are the CHAMPIONS! The WINNERS!!!!
And how can we not be winners in these awesome socks??? Seriously - I want to wear my socks EVERY DAY!
GO TEAM JESUS! Are you on the team? Let's keep cheering each other on in this game! Let's keep reminding who our COACH is... that we are WINNERS!
